#SSNC ~ Vishal, my friend from India

Mulu Caves Apr 2012

Vishal S Kale is a Bombaywalla guy. He joined MH in Oct 2009. Ever since then, according to him, it's been a joyride from travelling to making friends and an endless supply of amazing food! He learned some invaluable life lessons while visiting some parts of Malaysia, especially from the rural folks that he met and stayed with along the way, about respect, humility and how to live contentedly with what you have. One thing similar that he found here with what is back home for him, is the abundance of hospitality and the utmost respect one has for a fellow human being.

Sabah tops the list of his #1 Malaysian destination.

Working with MH gave him the opportunity to travel the world and see the beauty of what Malaysia has to offer, the way he wanted it to be. He became a certified diver whilst living here, had an amazing experience climbing the Pinnacles and Mount Kinabalu, spent a few nights in the jungles of Sarawak and saw first hand what Taman Negara is all about. He enjoyed awesome array of food and quite a few glasses of beer at Batu Feringgi, loved the duty free shopping at Langkawi and the unforgettable dives he experienced at Perhentian island. Working and living far away from home is not an easy thing to do but what lessen the homesick feeling, was the like minded friends he met along the way, including me * clears throat * hehe, the wonderful people he had a chance to work with and the friends he made at the Subang football field. All of us made him feel like as if he was never away from home. He never felt that life was hard here. The biggest thing being away from home and living amongst us taught him, was how to be patient. That is his biggest weakness and now, he is getting better at it. He finds our unique culture a joy to be surrounded by and learn from. He enjoys meeting people, interacting and sharing. " That's how you grow, " he says.

His dream is to travel around the world and Malaysia's, the first country that provided him with the opportunity to do so. For that, he is forever grateful. By the way, Vishal is now working for Air Asia. He started work at the new company in March 2013 and has since been everywhere. :)
